11-15-15 peyton manning breaking the NFL passing record

today peyton manning broke the NFL passing record which is a huge accomplishment and the biggest accomplishment and milestone a queterback can have in the NFL.  this record hasn't been broken for about 15 years which was previously held by brett favre who's is considered to be the greatest quarter back based on his stats and milestones but now that peyton manning holds the record he might be considered the best now.

a little bit of facts on the record that peyton manning broke today

- this record hasn't been broken since about 2006
- the current record at this moment is 71,840 passing yards
- peyton manning said he would never be able to break this record in a interview in 2010 when he thought that would be his final year playing in the NFL
-brett favre said that someone would eventually break this record

but with his success came a bit of controversy as he hasn't lived up to being the all time passing leader as he threw three pics the same game in only the first half which would later lead him to being benched for the game so now its all eyes on peyton manning if he can live up to the all time passing leader title. and so far he hasn't lived up to it one bit and now people are wondering if its time for peyton manning to the hang up the jersey and retire

Hello I'm Anthony and I'm a 9 grader attending North broward prep and besides focusing on grades I also focus on other things like football and other stuff.  But football has always stuck with me and it never left. I think my love of football started when I was about 4 during the Super Bowl when the Pittsburgh Steelers played the Seattle Seahawks. Ever since that time I always wanted to be on the field playing and the next year I was.  When I was 5 I signed up for the coconut creek eagles travel football team and I didnt know what to expect since I never played a sport before neither a sport of as high of contact football has. So I was very... Very nervous and right when I got to the field I saw a lot of other kids bigger then me, smaller then me, taller shorter and everything around and it was weird no one knew each other and it was dead silence.  And then a whistle blew and a man said every one gather around and he introduced him self as coach Brown the head coach of our team and he made us all introduce our self and we did. And after all of that he then said ok half of the people over there half the people stay here. And then he said we got hitting drills ! And I was super nervous because I didn't know if I was Going to get ran over or run someone over and so one by one he blew the whistle and people were hitting left and right  bone crushing sounds of pads hitting each other and then i was next in line . I put in my mouth piece and got ready so did the person I had to hit he blew the whistle and I ran to him and hit him as hard as I could with my shoulder pads and sent him flying back and I didn't realize I ran him over till I heard a loud roar of the team and the coaches they all came up to me and gave me a high five and from that moment on I knew I would love football forever and I still continue to play today as I am part of the north broward prep football varsity team. And hope to continue to play all my high school career.

theres a lot of artifacts that i have weather its a football helmet or a  signed football or even signed cards but the one thing that stands out to me the most is my first ever football jersey i ever received. now i got my first football jersey when i was about 7 or 8 and it was a pittsburgh steelers jersey because thats my  favorite team in football and always will be plus its by my favorite football player at the time ben rothlisburger.  now this jersey doesn't just mean a lot to me because its my first jersey but it also means a lot to me because my grandpa gave it to me and it was the only jersey he ever bought me because he hated that i was a steeler fan so we kinda hated each other when it came to football since he was a giant fan so we use to always have our arguments and debates about it. but the reason that it means so much to me is because my grandpa passed away a couple of years ago so it really has a special meaning to me. this jersey was honestly my favorite thing in the world i would almost wear it everyday and force my parents to wash it everyday so it was ready for the next day i don't know if i have a more favorite personal artifact and i don't think i ever will. with all its rips and wrinkles i would never ever ever get rid of this jersey.

My personal artifact....

I would have to say at of all my things and artifacts I have one ofmy favorites would have to be le'veon bell's football helmet with his autograph that he gave to me after a Pittsburgh Steelers game now this is my favorite artifact because he is my idle and I wanna grow up to be like him  and I've been watching him since he was in his red shirt freshman year in college and not to mention he is also one of the best players in the NFL now you are all probably wondering why should I care and I'm gonna tell you why.  This helmet which was le'veon bell's was the same helmet he used when he broke the steelers single game rushing franchise record and this was a big big big accomplishment for him because he made a promise to his grandma that he would do something special just for her and he did because he had 211 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns now the reason i think this is super special is because he did this for his grandparents and i have the helmet he wore when he did it and knowing that i have something as special as this makes it one of my favorite personal artifact.
